Very easy to use kit. The only snag was that my Schlage cylinder had an oddly shaped rear and didn't fit smoothly into the slots of the dummy cylinder that keeps the springs/top pins in place. However, this is only a mild inconvenience and easily worked around. Highly recommended for anyone seeking to re-key multiple doors! In fact, even if you don't need to re-key every door, replacing old, abraded bottom pins in existing locks can make for much smoother action.

Follower tool sucks and does not mate well with Schlage locks as it is supposed to. Case is awful and the latch it already broken. I wish I had saved my money and just bought the official Schlage kit rather than buy this knock-off.

My wife and I purchased a new home last year. The only problem is that we only had one key for the front door. We did not have the keys for the two separate door lock sets for the hamper room and French doors. So I found CLK products online and I purchased a rekey kit for those sets. I was able to use the kit successfully for the deadbolts (had to also use shims) but still have to figure out a way to unlock the door knob locks to rekey those cylinders. The kit works beautifully and would definitely recommend Lock-Voy Rekeying Kit for Schlage locks. Plus I have to commend CLK Supplies for their fanatic customer service.

CLK's Schlage-Type Rekey Kit enabled me to rekey 10 Schlage F series locks. The Follower that came with the kit didn't fit the barrel, requiring extreme care when removing the cylinder to ensure you don't lose the 5 springs and pins. I subsequently ordered the LFT000 Follower from CLK, which in my case would have worked perfectly.

I bought a Schlegel rekeying kit and a key gauge. I rekeyed a deadbolt without problem. I then needed to rekey a handle lock. The retaining clip removal tool was too thick to push into the groove and had to be filed thinner to fit. This allowed the clip to move a little further but the arc of the tool was too small to allow the clip to be pushed completely out but a small screw driver was able to catch the inner edge and pull out the clip. When I went to push out the barrel, the pusher does not fit over the end at all to retain the pins in the lock. All the pins and springs had to be removed to finish the rekey. What a joy that was to get them back in to complete the rekeying. I would not recommend this kit at all. You got 2 stars only because I did complete a dead bolt lock.

The C clip removal tool did not work to remove the C clip. Just used a slotted screwdriver instead. Bought a schlage follower instead.

The kit has all of the parts and tools necessary to rekey a Schlage lock and I am very satisfied with that aspect of the kit. However, the case is flimsy and I need to tape it shut to prevent it from opening inadvertently spilling all of the contents.

Some parts (pins) worked fine but critical tools did not fit correctly. Disappointing.

I just moved into a new house and had to change the deadbolts and door knobs on 5 different doors. Locksmiths are very expensive, so I decided to try rekeying the locks myself. Once I got the hang of it it only took a couple minutes to disassemble each lock, change the pins to match a new key, and reassemble and install again. The one hitch I ran into was the cylinder slide, though the correct diameter, did not exactly fit some of the older locks I was replacing. My only other complaint is that the extra tops pins are flat cylinders that rest on top of the springs instead of cylinders with a small bump that fits in the center of the springs which made it a little trickier to replace a few top pins that fell out while I was working. Still, I definitely saved several hundred dollars by replacing all the locks myself rather than hiring a locksmith. Definitely worth the money.

Used kit to change two door locks so far, will be changing more and this has been very helpful. Only negative, wish it came with the pin tweezers.

More than I needed but worked well for my 3 locks.

Reasonable price for a well-stocked kit. I needed to rekey a handful of locks and there's enough pieces for quite a few more. A couple minor gripes: the pieces are contained with a foam sheet when the box is closed. If you don't close the lid just right with the foam in place your pins will be mixed up the next time you open it. Also having a set of micro-tweezers in the kit would be nice for picking up the pins.

the only issue I had was the corner of the box was open and some pins fell out, mostly master pins. Everything else is good and what was ordered.It came faster then expected as well.

Product was as pictured, however I would recommend that you secure the lid better. The cardboard slip cover did not prevent 94% of the pins from slipping out during shipment. Slightly annoying to sort all the pins right away. Not the end of world.

Overkill for rekeying my 5 locks, but at side for the next time. Very fast and easy. Downloaded the instructions direct from schlage.com and had all 5 changed in about 20 minutes. Color codes pins make it even easier.
Definitely need to get a nice set of tweezers to do the job. Smooth ones won't work to hold the pins. Quick shipping. Definitely recommend.
