    We had a little screw up at first getting it here CLK quickly took care of the issue burnt about 15 keys at first now I got the hang of it perfect cut every time no more blue punch for me

    Rytan 2000 Key Punch

    I received the Rytan punch, with the wrong spacebar in the Schlage (default) side. I contacted the Rytan factory, and Carol was extremely helpful. She sent me the correct spacebar (Shipping Prepaid-both ways)
    and another IC knob-as the IC knob was not consistent in the depths.
    I recalibrated the machine both space and depth, and it is functioning perfectly.

    Not a real A2 solution

    While the thought of being able to originate both Schlage and A2 keys on a single punch is extremely appealing, in reality, these machines cannot clamp the full range of Best keyway blanks and you may find yourself stuck buying another punch anyway. To make matters worse, Rytan doesn't really tell you which blanks they DO support, so I'm still trying to put together a list of what I can and can't do with this thing. I'm assuming it'll basically only grab whatever they sell at McMaster-Carr, but I don't happen to have any of those blanks handy at the moment.

    That said, it does work well on anything it WILL clamp and takes up very little space.
