I used to use these a lot they were really cheap and made from steel so they would last longer. Now some greedy clown decided he wasnt rich enough so they started making these from cheap metal not sure what it is but they will break very easy. (lucky if you can get more than one use out of it) wow, they are charging $8! for this crap. Hoping they will sell you a bunch of them they think everybody is so stupid they will fall for this PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE stuff. The people at A1 used have integrity and believe in making a good product that would work well when you needed it. Now its all about being greedy - make crap that will break quick so they can sell you more crap. well for that ridiculous high price. I learned to make my own form kwikset key blanks it not really that hard and they last as long as this stuff will. so if you don't want to pay this price just make your own like I do.

they are ok.. they are breaking in two on occassion before the kikset core has detached from the knob. perhaps a-1 should consider increasing the tensile metal strength of the blade. thank you

Bought 2 and first one I used broke first use. Hoping the 2nd doesn't have same outcome.
