Original Lishi PRO HU162-9-PRO 2-in-1 Pick/Decoder, Side Cuts 3+6, Extended Lifters (VW Golf MK8 Recessed Door Lock)
The HU162-9-PRO V1 (also known as HU162-9-GOLF8) is a LISHIPRO supplemental tool from Original Lishi for late-model VAG door locks with recessed key holes, such as the VW Golf MK8.
Why the PRO version
On these locks the standard HU162-SC9-V2 swing lifters for side cuts 1–3 can collide with the door handle. The HU162-9-PRO has extended side-cut lifters so you can work both swing lifters from farther away from the key hole.
Features
- Extended side-cut swing lifters
- HU162 with side cuts (3+6) profile
- Anti-glare finish
- Supplements the HU162-SC9-V2 tool
Using it
Remove the default tension bar and fit the separate tension piece to the top of the panel. Use mild tension to avoid breakage and damage.
LISHIPRO is Original Lishi's small-batch line of specialised tools; the original Lishi tools remain available.
