NICE KEYS

Keys arrived the other day. Fast delivery. the keys are light and my wife noticed her keys are lighter now. I got these keys for my EDC set. Black blends in just nice. However, aside from appearances, they feel and look like plastic keys bc they are light weight which caused a bit of a problem getting them cut. I go to an actual locksmith and was told "these are aluminum". She said something about her machine not able to "grip" the key - which affects being cut. She said if they were brass or even nickel-plated it would be fine. So I go from the locksmith to Ace Lumber. The guy at ACE cut my keys in 10 minutes. Something for anyone to consider. The keys still have their finish after 2 weeks.
I put a dab of different nail polish to differentiate what key is for what. I would highly recommend this product, not the locksmith.
