Ford emergency key replacement for smart key proximity systems

The Ford 2017-2018 5th Gen Smart Key Emergency Key is a precision-made ford emergency key blank designed to work with the smart key/proximity key systems used by Ford on select 2017 and 2018 models. This emergency key is an essential backup solution that fits inside your Ford smart key fob or can be cut to match your vehicle’s locks, giving you the ability to manually unlock doors if the smart key’s battery dies or its proximity function isn’t working — ensuring you’re never locked out due to a dead transmitter.

The key blank matches part numbers such as Strattec 5929522 and OEM 164-R8168 and uses the common HU101 profile, making it easy for locksmiths to cut and program for vehicles like Ford Edge, Ford F-150, Ford Fusion, Ford Expedition, and other compatible 2017-2018 models that rely on ford smart key proximity systems. Whether you’re servicing smart key systems or need a reliable emergency key for roadside situations, this ford emergency key blank delivers value and peace of mind.
