One of the first and certainly one of the best ways to lubricate locks. This 1lb can of graphite for lubricating locks is use­ful because of the way the mol­e­cules are lay­ered, with weak bond­ing between each layer, and offer lubri­ca­tion at tem­per­a­tures much higher than liq­uid or oil based lubri­cants. Another great ben­e­fit is the fact that par­ti­cles do not attract to graphite the way they might to an oil based lubri­cant, there­fore not attract­ing unwanted par­ti­cles into the lock.
