Description

Hollow metal door mortiser that forms perfect square mortises in steel doors without cutting or using internal bridges. Hardened steel construction with Grade 5 bolt, quality thrust bearing, and black oxide coating for rust resistance.

Creates mortises for 2-1/4" x 1" and 2-1/4" x 1-1/8" square face bolts. Automatically locates and center punches screw mounting locations. Cuts installation time by 2/3 while preserving door structural integrity. Manufactured by SPC for over 35 years. Works on edge-seamed doors only.
